About the CA-782nd Model Rocketry Team

Model Rocketry is an amazing beginner team for incoming cadets, as we expand and introduce the cadets to aerospace engineering aswell as helping them learn the basics on how to engineer a rocket through the OpenRocket system.
The team builds teamwork and skills through lessons on how to work OpenRocket, teaching cadets how to build and test their own rocket through simulations with helpful data to help improve their designs. Model Rocketry is also valuable for those who may want to meet different cadets who share similar interests to them in the aerospace field, while also improving their skills and knowledge surrounding the field.
